2024. 30” x 22”. Oil on hand stretched Claessens Linen canvas.
Painted from life of professional artists’ model Hattie Erawan, the entire painting was completed with only two pigments plus white. This gives it a true colour harmony.  It was also painted using the sight-size method, to ensure accuracy of proportion and gesture.
The pigments used were:
- Michael Harding’s Ultramarine Blue (a cool dark)
- Rembrandt Oil Colours’s Transparent Oxide Red (a warm dark)
- Sennelier’s Titanium White.
